Jumping Time for the Penguins

The penguins have discovered Grandma's cash register.

If they jump really, really hard, they can hear the money jingle inside the drawer.

Onezie is trying to make the money come out by jumping down on the red button.

He doesn't know why the drawer won't open.

Do you know how to open the money drawer?

Onezie, Toozie, Threezie, Ketchup

Grandma got a big surprise when she went to clean the toy shelf.

Four little penguins were sitting on the shelf and they wanted to play.

Where did they come from?

Grandma doesn't know.

She will ask them someday.

"Hello, little penguins," Grandma said.

"Hello, Mrs. Grandma,"
said the penguin with a big blue number one on his chest.

"Let me introduce myself. My name is Onezie."

Onezie pointed to the other penguins. "Here is Twozie and Threezie, and the funny one on the end is Ketchup."

"Well, hello to all of you," said Grandma. "Welcome to the toy shelf."

Meet the Penguins

Grandma has a toy shelf at her house. It is filled with cars and trucks, farm animals and barns, houses and little people, rattles and games, blocks and legos, and much more, all for her grandchildren to play with when they come to visit.

One day, Grandma discovered some penguins had moved into the toy shelf neighborhood. She loved watching the fun they had, and she noticed that they sometimes got into a little mischief. Sometimes, though not often, they were even just a little naughty.

Grandma thought that her grandchildren might like to see what the penguins do all the time, so she started taking pictures of them.

Here are all the penguins, posing for Grandma on picture day. She didn't notice that the ninja race car driver got into the picture, too. He sure is sneaky. The penguins didn't mind. They thought it was funny to fool Grandma.

Come back and Grandma will introduce each of the penguins. Grandma can hardly wait to see what they will do next.
